Consultations
The consultation takes place in your home. The meeting lasts between one and three hours, depending on the scope of the project and is the time for you to communicate what you would like to accomplish in your home. We inquire about such things as color, fabric, furniture styles, your lifestyle, hobbies and other preferences. We listen carefully to create a dialogue that is an important factor in understanding the ideas you have in mind for your home. Measurements and photos will also be taken, and we ask to see the major areas of the home, even if you are not requesting those areas to be designed. Our goal in seeing the other areas is to create continuity throughout the home…”Flow.” We are interested in your personal items and strive to incorporate your possessions (your story) into our plan. We will also discuss specific priorities, time frames and budgets.
